My name is Gerd Lannewehr. I am Dip.Ing.Mechanical Engineering, EUR ING and have been active in the field of strength analysis of pressure vessels and as a provider of engineering consultancy services since 2001. My customers include the oil and gas industry, the chemical and petrochemical industry, as well as associated branches of industry.

On the basis of my comprehensive range of experience, and with the aid of the state-of-the-art computer programs, I can offer you reliable, time and cost-efficient services, in accordance with the requirements of national, European and international regulations.

Services

Following a sound practical education and a degree in mechanical engineering, I worked for ten years as a member of the management team of a medium-sized company.

On the basis of my many years of professional experience and my ongoing interest in innovative working processes, and with the aid of the very latest computer programs, I have now been offering services as a freelancer since 2001 in accordance with national, European and international regulations (EN-13445, EN-1591, AD-2000, TEMA, ASME VIII Div 1 & Div 2, PD-5500).

I provide support for all customer commissions from inquiry through to acceptance, including all the necessary interim stages (preliminary estimates, purchasing or procurement of materials, assistance during construction).

As a result you, or the departments in question, gain more time for your real core tasks.

I can thus respond flexibly and at short notice to your inquiries and commissions, and carry out your computations and drawings, including a strength analysis in accordance with the requirements of all national, European and international regulations. In particular special cases I am also happy to tackle problems directly with the inspection companies.
